There are a few people I have seen in my life, but I never actually met them. I don't idolize these people or anything but I would just really like to meet them.
This Much Music VJ, I think, is the best! I've always adored her for her style and hair. Many times, I have attemped her outfits but failed. She seems to have a super cool personailty. I think she's one of the sexiest Canadian women fo sho' !
The bass player for Tokio Hotel. He's cool and has a smile I can't resist! One thing I love about him the most is his hair! Just look at it! Doesn't it looks so beautiful and soft? If I got to hang out with him the first thing I'd do is ask him for some hair tips.
This girl is the coolest "scene queen" to me. I'm totally in love with her clothing line Lipstick Prophets. Ali, I promise. One day when I have the money I will buy that Mash Boatneck Tee!

On June 21, 2008 the Olympic Torch is scheduled to make its way to the Tibetan capital of Lhasa. We cannot let this happen! The Chinese government has had brutal cracked down on Tibet. It is inappropriate to parade the torch through Lhasa at a time when Tibetans are mourning their dead and while thousands remain in prison or unknown.
On June 11, 2008 the Free Tibet Campaign wrote a letter to the Coca-Cola UK president in effort to make the British branch of multinational beverage firm to take a stand on Tibet.

Dear Mr Guha,
I am writing as a UK resident with an appeal to Coca-Cola Great Britain to break with the non-interventionist position of Coca Cola HQ in Atlanta by taking a stand on the brutal crushing of peaceful protest in Tibet.
I appeal to you to do this by making a public statement, as a sponsor of the Olympic Torch Relay, that it would be distasteful for the Chinese government to parade the Torch through Lhasa and other parts of Tibet at a time when Tibetans are mourning their dead and thousands have been arbitrarily arrested and detained.

Recently a "friend" at school announced that she was pregnant. It didn't surprise me. She sleeps around a lot so it was bound to happen one day. But, when she told me she was keeping the baby, that was a different story. She's only 15 and she's a major pot head. Also, if she were to keep the baby she'd be kicked out of her house. I was thinking, "That's not a good life for the child." At first I didn't even care, but when she said, "Everyone calls me Juno," that got me thinking.
Lately the media has had a lot of control over teen pregnancy. Movies like "Juno" and "Saved!" have some what influenced teens by saying "Teen pregnancy isn't that bad," with reviews calling those movies "A hit!" and "Instant Classic!" Also, TV shows have had teen pregnancy scares, such as Gossip Girl. I have read a Maclean's magazine a while ago that had a huge article on teen pregnancy. It stated that teen pregnancy had risen in the past year in Canada, the UK, and the US.
Unplanned pregnancy is now the pop-culture staple. So many teen celebrities are getting pregnant in TV shows or in reality. But this is affecting the youth. Now, teen pregnancy is more socially accepted. I have heard lots of girls saying that they would have a child during high school. I mean, I’d like to have children too, but I’m smart enough to wait. A cost for raising a child is very expensive. You might as well go to collage.
Everyone wants to be the next Juno. But enough of me babbling, what do you think?

Okay, don't be too mean on me. This is the first sonnet I ever wrote. I actually wrote it half an hour ago. It is rainy outside today, so this is how I got my idea for my sonnet. I have to give it to my English teacher tomorrow. So, help me out! Give it a thumb up, on a thumb down. Haha, it's actually kinda funny.
Rainy Days
The clouds are all away, no time for play.
It is bad outside, and its a bad day.
Black skies, no butterflies, nothing to do.
Indoor activities sound like a blast,
But really your trapped not a thing to do.
Laying around being a lazy slob.
Not thinking straight for something to do.
It is cold inside, wishing it was hot.
But it is not, wishing you had some pot.
Time to relax, take a break, eat some cake,
Lose some pounds, jump around, sing some fun tunes.
Read a book, give TV a look, oh no.
Wishing it was nicer, for some sundaes.
But that's all we do, on sad rainy days.

I have to write a sonnet for my English class. But, I have no ideas on what to write it about. My minds in the gutter. Not sure if I used the pharse correctly, heard someone say it today. Anyways, I thought I'd ask my Buzznet friends for help?! Any ideas? : )
